As those of you know who read this blog regularly, I’ve been going through a lot of life changes. These include a cross-country move and a major remodel. In this new environment, internal changes have been happening as well. I’ve written about some of these, and there are more that I haven’t written about. It’s an extraordinary, powerful time for me, and I am humbled and grateful for this new life.
Last week I wrote about the stirrings I started to feel under the fig tree. I had the sense that change was in the air, though I didn’t (and don’t) know what that means yet. All I know is that I feel the urgent need to free up some of my time. I am getting more education in writing, publishing, and marketing, all while working on multiple books. I also plan to take more time in silence and reflection.
It’s always hard for me to give up an activity, because I love all that I do. The blog is a lot of fun, and I enjoy reading and commenting on your blogs as well. I don’t expect to be gone for long, but I’m going to back off for now. I might be back in a couple of weeks or a couple of months — I’m not sure yet. But I will be back! Hugs to all of you!
Oh no! Whose going to tell me about all the great blogs or news articles that I miss? And what about updates to the construction and gardening? Just as they’re both getting to the interesting parts. Anyway — I hear ya. Isn’t it nice to realize that — despite what we learned when growing up — we don’t have to be superwomen and do it all. Take care of yourself and we’ll be waiting for you.
Oh, Nadine, I’ll miss you, but I totally understand. Blogging 5x a week is starting to wear on me, and I’ve been rethinking that.
Take care of yourself and enjoy this time. I’ll look forward to you coming back and sharing your experiences! 🙂
Nadine, just a short note to let you know that you are missed! I hope you’re enjoying your time off. Roxy and I send hugs your way! 🙂
Thanks so much! I’m having some minor surgery soon (not serious, just annoying), and I hope to be back after that. In the meantime, I’m starting to draft blog posts again, so once the health is up to snuff, I’ll be back at it! Hugs back to you and the lovely Roxy!
